Padmavathi Parinyam Seva Tickets Availability (Padmavathi Parinyam Seva) is an annual festival of Padmavathi Srinivasulu Parinyam celebrated in Tirumala by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams for 3 days at Narayanagiri. This festival is performed on the days of Dasami, Navami and Ekadasi in the month on May/ April (Vaisaka Masam). It’s a wedding of Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Padmavati.
Significance of Sri Padmavathi Parinayam:
Sri Padmavathi Parinayam is 3 days grand wedding ceremony of Lord Malayappa swami and Goddess Padmavati, for this wedding festival colorful and special designed Kalyana Mandapam will be made at Narayanagiri Udayanavanam, Tirumala
The wedding process is done as per Hindu dharma with some traditions such as “EDURUKOLU”, new clothes offering, after the wedding in Kalyana Mandapam “KOLUVU” is conducted and many cultural programs like Music, Veda, Bhajana, Parayanam and etc takes place.
In this 3 days the Lord Malayappa Swami, the festival deity will arrive grandly on Gaja Vahanam from the main temple to specially decorated Kalyana Mandapam and also Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi arrives on separate palanquins. After finishing 3 days wedding ceremony the deity will return to the main temple which concludes the Sri Padmavathi Parinayam. The Firing of color cracker takes place and this the add more charm to the ceremony every day
On First day of Weeding Ceremony – (Navami – Vishaka Masam):
On this day Lord Malayappa Swami appear on Gaja Vahanam to specially decorated Kalyana Mandapam at Narayanagiri and Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi arrive on separate palanquins. As part of ceremony on first day “EDURUKOLU” new clothes offering, exchange of flower bouquet (Pula Daedalus) flower ball game (pulabhanti aata) will be performed. After finishing this celebration the Lord Malayappa Swami and Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi will return to main temple
On Second day of Weeding Ceremony – (Dasami – Vaisaka Masam)
On this day Lord Malayappa Swami appear on Aswa Vahanam and Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi arrive on DHANTHAPU Pallaki to the Kalyana Mandapam at Narayanagiri
As part of celebration same celebration “EDURUKOLU” new clothes offering, exchange of flower bouquet (Pula Daedalus) flower ball game (pulabhanti aata) will be performed with Veda Pandits traditionally. They also perform Music, Dance, Harathi and Veda Parayanam
After finishing this celebration the Lord Malayappa Swami and Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi will return to the main temple
On Third Day of Weeding Ceremony – (Ekadasi – Vaisaka Masam)
This is the last day of the wedding ceremony on this day Lord Malayappa Swami appear on Garuda Vahanam one of the most dearest Vahanam of Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi DHANTHAPU Pallaki to the Kalyana Mandapam at Narayanagiri, same traditional “EDURUKOLU” new clothes offering, exchange of flower bouquet (Pula Daedalus) flower ball game (pulabhanti aata) will be performed. The firing of color cracker takes place and this the add more charm to the ceremony every day
